Sakadas

The pride of our province in Negros Occidental, Philippines. Negros is known as the sugar capital of our country. A sakada is a contracted plantation laborer. What you see here are the hardworking Sakadas who cuts and loads cane onto the red truck going to the mill to be processed into sugar.
