o muro é amarelo

o muro é amarelo simply means the wall is yellow.  i have written the title in Portuguese language for a change.  that is how i roughly translated my idea using an online dictionary.  notice the masculine pattern of the words? which reminds me of my forefathers and even my own parents name with this type of pattern. luckily the modern generation of Filipinos are done with the traditional way of naming their children.  or else i might end up being called Aileena =)

have you ever been interested or keen enough to observe foreign languages? well i do think each person has the ability to adapt practically or intellectually. i remember one Czech proverb saying, Kolik jazyků znáš, tolikrát jsi člověkem. (you live a new life for every new language you speak. if you know only one language, you live only once.) my first experience with foreign language adaptation is here in Thailand.  on my first month, it was a bit frustrating to see signages written in alien characters.  i have no choice but to learn their dialect for survival.  in doing so it gave me a better understanding of their culture and way of thinking.
