Sweets for My Sweet

Oh how I love sweets! Oftentimes I would buy a few samples from the side street vendor and hubby would normally comment, “I doubt if you can finish them all. Or else it would end up somewhere again.”  Every time I hear those lines I just stick my tongue out and smile. I know he means no harm but a challenge! Anyway, you’ll never know unless you try I told him.  Trying is the key to new discoveries.

Kanom or sweets in Thai otherwise known as native delicacy commonly comes in neat biodegradable packages and fancy costumes too for the seller.   This one is made from sticky rice with steamed egg as toppings.

That kanom lady was very friendly.  She even caught my attention instantly.  I was thinking, it was her who originated the Vulcan hand greeting! Or probably she thought I was an alien. LOL. Am I seeing stars? Then it’s time to go to bed.
